The books have made it into the world! They're all available from blurb and are being printed to order, which feels to make sense at this point.
Printing to order means there's no waste though I do love seeing the actual book too so let's see - if I do any events I'll plan to bring a few copies along. I am loving doing poetry readings - which sounds quite grand - so far at one of the colleges I teach in, on the riverbank and at our lovely happiness day I read 'Happiness' and 'Bottoms are so Smiley' from the second book and my 'Remembering Me' book respectively. We ended the day with 'Thank you' from the second book. I'm looking forward to reading more at the next one.
They're all available to order here.
Only when it's dark can you see the stars (Book 1)
The Mask of Normal (Book 2)
The Madness of Now: Global Challenges and Learnings
The Madness of Now: Local Challenges and Learnings
And you can now buy Books 1 and 2 together in Here and Now not There and Then.
And to celebrate for today (22nd December 2021) I'd love to send a pack of wildflower seeds if you buy the book today. Drop me a link on my Say Hi link above with your address and I'll get them posted out.
With love and gratitude,
The first two books are arriving shortly...
Check out the page here and I'll be shouting about it once they've arrived!
This is all new to me! My Dad is the literary one, I'm a bit of a science geek - a lover of homeopathy, which I've been working with for the last 14 years, I studied a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and whilst I love, love, love to read, have never really written anything.
Well, that said, I've a children's meditation book in the making but that's been on the go for years and a concept of a Bad Ass Monk book, chatting through growing in resilience, which was my aim this year and I'm still working with it, but it seems this is happening right now so I'm going with it.
I'm definitely struggling at times with the world 'out there' and being a parent means the struggle doesn't always stay outside of the house! I'm learning lots and leaning into it all... and the poems are flowing. They feel to resonate with others so I'm sharing them. With love.
My aim currently is a wee compilation in physical form, but for now, they're all here. If you enjoy them feel free to share. If you hate them, well, that's art I guess, a little like Marmite - I hope you find something joyful to go and do to enjoy after your time being here. If they resonate with you then I send love.
Well, whichever way I send love.
